help with a ss-sleave-eagle

Having seen better pictures of this eagle that you sent me i believe this eagle to be real and period, not German made but as you have mentioned probably Belgium or Dutch made.

do any of you collectors in those area's have such eagles in your collection or have any firm evidence to the manufacturer?

Hi Gary;

That's why I asked him early on what was his thought process in concluding that it was a fake. Although I've never encountered one like it before, I tend to believe it is a period made piece as well.
