I have started to build an early variant of Panzerjager 38 Hetzer, based on Academy plastic kit. My goal is to build brand new exemple as it arrived to Warsaw by railway, to fight against Polish insurgents in Warsaw Uprising in August 1944. I found some inspiration in an original wheel, probably coming just from some Hetzer. Original Hetzer belonged to 2 company of Heeres Panzerjager Abteilung 743. It had been stopped dead by molotov coctails and hand grenades. Some sources say that one crew member survived and escaped. The rest had been killed most probably by internal explosion of ammunition.
