EK2 Spange Question

Me and others are wondering about a spange on a medal bar. It doesn't appear to be a readily identifiable one... This is discussed in the thread below.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated...

It is a first model Meybauer. Why no spange on the ribbon bar? Jim

If the ribbon bar is indeed part of the veteran's estate I would think it was prior to his being awarded the Ost Medal, where he may have been awarded his '39 EKII...? Just a guess...

I appreciate your feedback. It appears the spange is good. I am not sure the ribbon bar is original to the medal bar? It might have been matched before it got to me? I am not sure...
