I have not seen a known original like that. Plus there is a production feature to the button hole that is typical of a post-war button hole maker.

if straps are a reproduction means that in good faith I also thought they like original ........ ! I take these like original!
The jacket has its just value even without the shoulder straps... !!!

The shoulder straps do not exhibit the proper construction techniques that I would expect to find on original German tropical shoulder straps. They are poorly made and I question the material on the tops.

Original Tropen Schulterklappen will fetch a large price. This combined with unscrupulous individuals (and sometimes unknowing) create an environment for fraud by selling fakes.
