KVK2 and Ost Medal Document Grouping w/ Envelope

Hello all,

This is a recent document grouping I recently acquired. The medals came with this but there is no way to tell if they were the actual ones issued w/ the documents.

The documents are for Friedrich Hirsch for a War Merit 2nd Class w/ Swords and his Eastern Front medal...

It also appears that the envelope contained one of the documents and he perhaps mailed back to his home??

Any inputs are greatly appreciated.

(6.4.1944-9.11.1944) 19.5.1944 Stab Panzerjäger-Abteilung 197,
(6.4.1944-9.11.1944) 6.10.1944 Stab Panzerjäger-Abteilung 195.

As can be seen from the stamp on the envelope, this was sent in 1943, so the FP # appears to still have been in use then.

Schn(elle?) Abteilung 229 isn't listed (from what I can find) on LdW, so no info there....

For Panzerjaeger Abteilung 229, LdW has this:
Aufgestellt am 23. Dezember 1939 mit einem Stab und einer 1. Kompanie. Am 1. April 1940 in
Panzerjäger-Abteilung 229 umbenannt. Am 5. November 1940 wurde die 1. Kompanie an die 335. Infanterie-Division abgegeben und ersetzt. Anfang Januar 1941 wurde die Abteilung auf drei Kompanien erweitert. Die 1. Kompanie wurde am 16. September 1942 an das Jäger-Bataillon 4 abgegeben und und ersetzt. Am 2. November 1943 wurde die 3. Kompanie aufgelöst und durch eine Fla-Kompanie ersetzt. Am 9. Mai 1944 in
Panzerjäger-Abteilung 197 umbenannt, am 27. Juli 1944 in
Panzerjäger-Abteilung 195 umbenannt und der Korpsabteilung H unterstellt.
