      One would think it was made from Gold. This was the price for Vol 2 of Angolia's Luftwaffe series. I have seen copies of this book actually priced over 700 dollars before.

            Very interesting photograph! Notice the visor cord and the collar piping!!

            I never knew that this type of visor cord existed! Is there anything written on the back(date or other information)?

                      This thread might confirm how rare any sonderfuhrer uniform is. I thought by now there would be a handful. I guess considering Sonderfuhrer tabs don't show up all that often we shouldn't be suprised.

                        I know that Weitze has an Officer level Sonderfuhrer overcoat.

                        I figured that it would not hurt to bring this up every so often. Who know what may surface from time to time.

                        I know that toward the end of the war, all of the physically able Sonderfuhrer were brought into the regular Luftwaffe, thus requiring they change to the regular branch insignia.

                                Yes the Angolia series are expen sive. If you search on e-bay you will see thisvolume going (and by that I mean selling) for $300 - $400 easily. Sometimes you can get lucky though.

                                Paul, did you get the uniform?? Where are you sending it to? The ship??
