Now that I take a 2nd look at these 'brushstrokes' on the reverse of the WH, they could in fact be remnants of the hand filing as is seen on the inner side of the wreath...just a thought.

Here is another example of a W.H. marked Destroyer Badge. This example measures 54.35mm high x 45.92mm wide. The weight is 25.3 grams.

On the reverse, this example shows much evidence of grinding/deburring.

Beautiful L/15 by Shickle or Mayer or even possibly by Forster and Barth, just posted by Berra. Some confusion right now about what it is based on the Tucker book image (L/21) and known examples and marked examples by Shickle (L/15) and Mayer (L/18) which are identical to Berra's badge. John
