Eagle Order Case

I've had this case for years, a vet PU. There are so many classes I can't seem to figure out if this was for the pin back award with swords or it would have been for the larger pinback (German cross style) with swords. They show a bunch of cases in the Formans price guide but not this style. Hopefully someone with more experience with these cases can help me out. The case measures 5 1/4 inches square. Thanks for your help.

The last picture reveals all: 'Stern des Deutschen Adlerordens mit Schwerten' translates to Star of the German Eagle Order with Swords.

I'm sure I'll be corrected on this, but I think this could be a '1943' case as such due to the inscrpition style alone in the lid - I'm not overly conversant on these - so don't take that as gospel please (I'm sure there are other traits as in the catch, outer covering even the eagle motif perhaps......???)

Marcus, I believe you've made the correct assumption i.e. a 1943 case for the breast-star (75mm). This class was awarded when the recipient already had the Erster Stufe (1937 or 1939) or the 3rd Klasse (1943).
