SS enamel pins were not RZM marked. As well, the RZM M1/129 license number does not appear to have ever been used on genuine badges, but it does appear on a variety of fakes.
This is a well-known fake. Genuine SS-Zivilabzeichenen were made only by Hoffstatter and Gahr.
Piece of JUNK.
The SS Ziviabzeichen was only made by two authorised
makers.
1;
Hoffstatter Bonn,marked ges gescsh and serial numbered.
(NOT AN SS Number)
2;
Gahr Munchen and so marked with "Silber"
900 usually and numbered (hand engraved.)
Sometimes found with the "locking pin" but NOT always
as it was an added cost item.
