I have the catch, and it isn't the typical Souval post war fake catch, I can scan that too.
Ok, I searched and found an similiar one with a casting mistake between the swastika and rifle.

As long as the catch is not of the post war type that Souval used I belive the badge to be good. This flaw seen on the swastika next to the rifle has been observed before on good badges. Souval is not a maker known for quality control.

to me it looks like a good ground dug. I would not spend more than 40 Euros on it. IMO it`s not worth repairing.Comment

Don't get it repaired "professionally".
All you need to do is check the fit of the catch to the badge and then super glue it in place. You will be hard pressed to tell the difference.
I have seen lots of badges where soldering has been attempted and they make a real bad job of it....

......I would say that it isn't worth much more than the $50 you paid for it, but there are people out there that will pay more. They do it every day.I would not spend more than 40 Euros on it.
