Better pictures would certainly help a great deal.
I don't have a problem with the crown. From what I can see it looks to be quite detailed.
Send clearer pictures.

It's not the notorius 'muffin' crown which has a different shape.
The bar with the two holes maybe a later addition to replace a lost disc. Just speculation on my part as the bar would be a lot easier to make than the disc. Then again it is nicely dished and looks to be well made. Who knows?

Never said it was the muffin, and maybe it is the light but I don't like what I see. Nothing definitive until we see better pics. It may be perfectly fine, but it is impossible to judge from these shots. How does it feel in hand? That is infinately more important...
