    Original ww2 equipment items??

    Hello,
Can someone tell me if these items are original and how old they are +/- ?
1 of the containres has a glas "cup" in it.

I found so far only 1 marking:

    Garant
    Rein
    Alluminium

The cup looks to me a standard M1931 cup, but he's only marked with 1/4 L. Is that a problem?

Finally I've got a gasmask strap. The coulours don't appear very great on the photo. Is this strap original, or postwar?

    Thanks a lot!

    Frank

Yes, thats right. All other items are period but not Wehrmacht. Those were sold to hikers (like the famous "Wanderv******246;gel"), campers, boy-scouts, etc. You can find the same drinking-cup, but with markings, e.g. "SSL.36", for early Wehrmacht-use.

              Hello,
Thanks for your help! Among the items was a ww1 (1914) german canteen as well. Ik know that german soldiers carried in ww1 a seperate alluminium cup as well. Couldn't this be such a cup? (the cup in post 2)

              Thanks!

                Cup

                Frank

The cup could be a WWI, a Reichswehr one before 1931 when the new canteen was introduced or a Party or para-military organisation one...
Hard to say in fact without the year on it !
