In this thread our friend Walter Sp. wil share with us information, pictures etc ... from a superb grouping that is in his collection, im pretty sure that you wil all enjoy it as it is great in its rarity, completeness, etc ... and this grouping has really alot of touching points towards all areas off the Third reich collecting.

I wil post the pictures in a chronological appearance, etc ... for Walter and let him comment ( not al pictures are receieved for the moment but i wil begin with a very fine portraitpicture of our brave SS officer => where you can see him in full award dress.

I understand the impatience of you my fellow collectors but i did not receive al the images yet to post them already in a chronological way => for Angel, here is also something that is quite unique and see the remark on the second page below ( this was not enough to receive the German cross in Gold at that certain point : 15.12.1941 and was send back to add some more points or bravery acts , etc ... )

Here is the wound badge in silver document for our brave Wolkerstorfer , receieved on 20.02.1942 for 3 wounds ( sustained on 05.08.1941 , 10.07.1941 and 25.11.1941 )

his 7 th award : Infantery assault badge bronze

On the date of 15.06.1942 our Officer receieved the Infantery assault badge in Bronze as his 7 th award ( in nearly 4 years !! )

2 Tank destruction badges , etc ...

It does not stop here and on the same day when he was awarded the Infantery assault badge this person also receieved a typed award document for the destruction of 2 enemy armoured vehicles ( act of bravery was 07.09.1941 near Baba )=> making these his 8 & 9 th award
