The pants I have are identical to the ones pictured above. They are not french, material used, buckles, construction are indicative of german manufacture.

I have two unissued pairs of what may be considered a more "traditional" style of reversible pants, white, reversible this same type of combed wool, these pants COULD have been worn by SS or Army, and they seem h ave to been made in the occupied east.

I have a period photo attributed to SS mountain troops which I can post, interesting in that it shows the WHITE side in use, which shows a distinct diamond pattern quilting. Construction of these is imo not from some other allied country, but german
