    I have a Dark Secret

If anyone has followed any of my posts or checked my web/blog they would know
I have an interest in the Axis combat items of the Italian Campaign. I have a sincere interest in items from Axis volunteers in German Service to include the Waffen SS and the RSI. This includes their uniforms, headgear and insignia.

but........ I have a dark secret

If look at the first photo it looks innocent enough.

Heres the SS NCO hat by Heinrich Wille - Hannover

It is a 1938-39 hat. It has a gray sweatband which I do not believe was replaced
period or otherwise ,but may have been used when a transition to the SS -VT hats were being made

              Wow wonderful Dennis.
Do I count 6 daggers in your treasure chest?
That bullion-brocade dress belt is not too shabby either!
Now that the secret is out about its contents, you might as well decorate the chest with some fancy wood carving
to go along with the theme!

(just kidding of course! very tasteful as is! but I would have a hard time not displaying such fantastic items)

Denis, now that is a secret worth keeping and quite a treasure chest. Are you some kind of a pirate? Jacques
