The unmarked one is frequently (and incorrectly) attributed to Deschler as well, but the maker remains a mystery. I do not agree that it could be Assmann.

The one on the left is a unmarked and unknown until now. There's is a die of it, that has, like a doubble suture lines like you can see on the pic. It isn't a photographic illusion. I have exactly the same skull from the same material and with almost the same patina.
... they look like Deschlers but they can't be.

Thank you guys for your comments,so i guess i got myself 1 mystery skull and looks like its more rare than Deschler but good thing that its original and whole piece no repairs, hopefully one day we will find out the maker of it.

Also if you guys need better and more detailed pictures of unmarked one i will take them, just ask me.

              kind regards,

              Eddie

FYI, in terms of rarity, the unmarked skulls are not that hard to find and Deschler is still the more desirable of the two to most collectors. Also, I am not trying to rain on your parade, but, you should note that the unmarked one looks like it is a bit defective. It appears that it was double-struck, resulting in a dupicate row of sutures on the skull; that will affect its value somewhat. That being said, please don't get me wrong; they are both great skulls and anyone would be glad to have either of them!

Thank you for kind words guys,
they look much better in hand and unmarked one look almost black on that picture but it is much brighter and have allot of finish on it.

                      regards,

                      Eddie

Love those skulls!!! Better hang on to the unidentified one because in 50 years there will be a trend in the collectors market that will seek only the "super rare double dies", and will pay gajillions for them, like they did with coins 50 years ago.

Thank you for the info bwanek,i didnt know since i see mostly Deschler's available but totally agree with you that Deschler design is the best from all of them.

                          regards,

                          Eddie

Hi John, thank you for your comment,i totally agree with you on holding on to the unmarked one and in 50 years this will coast as much as nice chunky diamond but wait they already do
well it will only get better for those who got them now so it goes for any antiques all together.

                            regards,

                            Eddie

The M1/52 is a one looker and very nice!! The other one is very odd, it appears to be made of tin not cupal. I have never seen a real TK made of material this thin before..
