I believe this an "Unknown Maker" Para Badge, but I would like to get a few expert opinions.

I´m not an expert, but that´s the wellknown badge from the mysterious unkown maker.

Thanks for the response. I got the badge from my BN S3, his wife is German and her father was a paratrooper on the Eastern Front. I'm not much of a document collector, but they have the his original Red Cross letters written to his wife, after he was captured in 1944. I believe he has about 3 or 4 Red Cross 3 x 5 card letters, which chronicles his dislike of his Russian Captors. The first letter is from 1944 and states he has been captured and the war is over for him. The second letter is from around 1945, and he tells his wife that the war is over and he'll be home soon. His third letter is from around 1950 and he tells her that regardless of what Germany did, they should be released. He goes on and tells her that he will survive and someday he will come home. I believe he finally made it home in 1954.
