          Gentlemen.

I would very much appreciate your opinions on this Luftwaffe Tropical Shirt.
The removable buttons are in two parts, the reverse of the white button being marked HABI. They are perhaps positioned the wrong way round at present.

          Best regards,

          Simon

I'm not familiar with this kinda eagle, looks rather strange, would like to hear more opinions.

The eagle doesn't look original to the shirt, not sure about authenticity either but it looks a lot newer than the rest of the shirt. Would be interested to see the interior stitching.

I think the eagle is trying to be this type which I believe to be authentic.

Agree Jos, never saw an eagle like this before and don't like it. Also agree with Greg that the eagle is not original to the shirt. Details of the shirt are also unusual but the shirt does appear to be period.

Yes, that one is certainly authentic. I agree the one in question is 'trying' to be like this one, but it has failed......

I too agree the eagle in question is bad.

                        Hi All
I´m familiar with this breast eagle...It´s a confirmed fake. And it´s the same fake pattern as I´ve just showed in the Jump smock eagles thread(See link below). This bad eagle pattern just distorts even more when it´s done on a thinner backing as the shirt material. And again notice the open feather tips in the top right wing(among other things).

I´m not seeing the resemblemce with the eagle that William have shown though. This(William´s) is the pattern I call "Harmony" because of how well balanced and nicely executed this pattern is, and this can hardly be said about the Fake one.

                        Best Jan

Good shirt but not the eagle I personally want to see.

                          Bad quality eagle IMO.
