Field telephone with strap, opinions please

My new field telephone, Luftwaffe, 1937 marked and with BAL stamp (red arrow). No green stripe on the left plate:

It came with this interesting web strap, dated 1944:

In this forum someone said that there are no known wartime web straps for this kind of equipment, only leather straps. So please comment.

    Have a nice day,
    Steve

    Nice

This is the 1st web strap that I see, that looks original !!!
I would put it on a late war field phone if I were you

    Thanks for showing !

      Very nice indeed!

They are also the first web-straps I see for a field-telphone, and they look good IMO! Congrat...

Phone is also nice, nice catch with the BAL marking... Not very common..

It has no green stripe because it is an early FF33 and has a not modified inductor.

Later types had a modified one and were marked with a green stripe...

      Cheers

Oh thanks! As I have not much knowledge about field telephones (I only needed a Luftwaffe one for a future Luft mannequin project) I had no clue why some have the green stripe and others not.

        Best wishes,
        Steve
