    I bought this a while ago from a "reputable" and widely recommended dealer.

    I have had a discussion with Danny who is not happy with it and he recommended I put it up for discussion as I plan to send it back.

      Yes, I advised Nick to put this one up for discussion as I believe it to be a fake.
      IMO, it is one of the new fakes which Daniel has dubbed the 'Stuttgard fake' as seen in this thread:

        I agree wholeheartedly with Danny, the almost Souvalesque outer corners and poor execution of the beading on the inner corners are a giveaway to this type of cross.
        Can you post pics of the dates Nick? Not as if further confirmation is needed but it would be useful for anyone searching these crosses in the future.
