Derek,
the photos in post 1-9 were taken after a small swimming event, i am afraid i do not have a date for this, it is interesting also that some of the member while wearing the music school collar tabs and shoulder straps are also displaying HJ armbands, some with eagles on the sleeves some without.

I think that maybe 50% of the pictures I have seen of the Music School show probationary SS boys wearing their HJ brassards. Here is another picture from that Deutschland bandsman's album to keep the thread going. It shows all the practice that went on in the barracks prior to the public parades. Note the drilling officers in gray.

In your post #13 that shows the TV members standing by their transport, it looks to be the barracks at Dachau. Do you have any other images from this particular series that show the buildings? I am researching all the various establishments in the huge Uebungslager complex and am most interested in pictures taken there.

there were only 8 photos in the small lot and no more showing the building in the background of post # 13, I did notice though on some there was writing on the back, will check them out for you.

these images were captured from period film, does anyone have examples of this insignia?

rare nice photos - even rarer tab I bet!

strange on foto 9 there seems an odd reflectance on the lyre that says "metal" to me. anyone else get that impression?

if so it could be like the reiter-standarte tabs that had "pin-ons" I seem to recall....
