Waffen SS Erel YELLOW piped Cavalry Officers Visor, ex MOLLO collection

Gents,
I purchased this before the discussion came about on colored waffenfarbe Waffen SS visors, so no coincendence there. It arrived 2 days ago and I have examined it thouroughly and had it vetted via pics by a well respected member whose opinion I trust as well.
While where it comes from and in whose collection it was in makes no difference on ultimately determining authenticity, there is a lineage to Mr. Mollo. As well, it comes from maybe THE top dealer in the UK (and is still posted on his website). Regardless, the visor must stand up to scrutiny.
I feel it is a very rare, good one but would like opinions because of the rarity of these. Many have never held a W-SS colored visor in hand. I had one I believed to be authentic but turned it back a while ago.
Anyway without further adieu, please see this visor and I welcome your comments gents.

Visor front. The insignia is nicely pressed into place on the fabric and has been there a long time. Band is velvet and everything is as you would expect with chincords, waffenfarbe placement, etc.

Eagle, my concern while the eagle is nicely pressed into place on the fabric, the left wing appears to have broken off at one point and been repaired. Period repair? You would think someone making an ultra high end replica of an Erel would simply replace the eagle insignia as they are readily available. I am not an insignia expert but I believe the insignia is early model as period fitting to the visor (1940 thereabouts as per WSS regs with Waffenfarbe colored visors).

In behind of the wing you can see a kind of creamy bluish greenish "glue". Period repair? Never seen this before. It has carefully been repaired.

You cannot tell by this pic, the waffenfarbe is clearly faded from field wear except under the overhang of the visor as you would expect to see from sun fading.

It looks good to me and to the collector who has seen the hi-res photos of these and a couple more. But I am a collector not a be all end all expert. I will also be showing it in hand to an advanced collector tomorrow night as well.

Because of the rarity of these I welcome opinions please gents. I would really love comments from those who have handled WSS visors with colored Waffenfarbe or have them in thier collection.
