Of course the leather tab was not attached to the buckle from factory, but it was done by the SS man during WWII for whatever reason since this buckle is a direct vet purchase.

I am inviting all of you with a similar buckle to upload photos of it for further reference since there is right now many fakes with this marking (fortunately none is close to the original).

For who is still asking why some members can upload photos and why some can't, the answer is only $20. To upload photos you have to become an "Association Member" and pay a very small annual fee of $20 which helps the Association to pay for the web space (more photos = more megs = more money to pay).
So if you plan to upload more and more photos, please become an Association Member.
