Minty spanish cross in bronze w/o swords

    Hello,

here is my most recent addition, it seems to be unissued
    Just a slight hint patina.

Anyone can make out the maker?

    Thanks for looking

    Alex

                Wow, that's a looker
As for the maker, I am afraid we still don't have the ways to discern this one!
The hardware and the high quality of execution speak of an early manufacture!

Is this unknown maker a common sight for this cross or is it more of a rare maker?

                  Thanks in advance

                    everyone out for lunch?

looking at the needle setup, the catch seems to be huge, one would think this is a distinctive feature to determine the maker ...

Don't flame me too bad, I'm still somewhat new to medals and crosses

Very nice photos and a lovely cross.

I´m not a Spanish Cross expert, after quick look I think it´s the unknown type.
It also looks like a Meybauer, but most of them are maker marked.

Is this the only unknown maker for the spanish cross or is this just one unknown maker out of many?

You said it looks like a Meybauer, could it be an unmarked Meybauer

check out the backside of the cross. Is this maybe the residue of a "glued on" tag or something like that?

                            Alex,
nice cross. It is not a Meybauer for sure.
this is a typical manufacture called ''one piece construction'', because eagles are not soldered instead of the other manufatures. the maker is unknown.
the axe of the hinge seems to miss, isn't it ? generally on this construction, the axe has a particular top end rounded as a mushroom.
