    Another EK1 Blued Core Silber

A New Year's Eve arrival. This exsquisite piece is my second blued core EK1. This one is marked with the word Silber on the rear. I must say this one is very nice, even in better shape than my other one. One of my nicer items.

The blued core brothers. The Silber is on the left, and the one on the right is marked 930. These have to be some of the nicest Iron Crosses out there in my opinion. I'm really glad I've been able to add them to my collection.

Beautiful crosses Steve. I wonder if these were more scarce because it was easier to paint than blue?

A beautiful variant that I have yet to find. Congrats and Happy New Years.

              Nice looking cross.
The "silber" stamp adds a lot to it also.

Thanks everyone. Steve, I would assume the blueing process was either or both more time consuming, expensive, or beyond the capabilities of many makers. So far I have only seen this particular make with this process applied. You can see it is the same maker. These are beautiful, especially in hand.

Very nice crosses, I have the matching EK2 on a Saxon bar.

Don't forget a blued core prinzen.
