I've gotten many tinnies from Mike. He has nice selections on his ePier auctions under doneall517 and cool collectibles on eBay under doneall517@aol.com. Hope you don't mind the plug, Mike!
No one responded to your question as to whether anyone else had Imperial tinnies! That's my only one, above.
I have a "Saar clip-on" one also. I always thought there were just 2 versions (one with, one without), but if you look closely at mine, you can see dings and scratches where the Saar piece was originally there.
That might help explain the "missing angle" to the cross. Perhaps on this manufacturer's version that was the only angle showing?
I'll have to reclaim mine from a friend, who borrowed it, and post it. I would like to see more of these. Anyone else?
Earlier, Yancy asked what cities Kevin's VDA tinnies came from: One says Kulmsee (Chelmza), but I can't make out the other: Juni?reben it looks like... "June vine?" Makes no sense - pic not sharp enough to read the city name.
i couldnt make out the names but i compared designs and i allready have those 2.I thought it was a set of 50 but i just found out that there are 58 in that series so i have 9 to go.I was happy when kevin posted those 2 im allways on the lookout for the last few.Ive been laying low waiting for Ralph to run outta ammo but that doesnt look like its happenning(you should start a tinnie buisness )so heres a few more from the collection.(these are posted in the glass tinnies/VDA thread also,Im running out of good tinnies to post)
I am currently bidding on this fabulous paper tinnie in a Mike Dunn ePier (doneall517) auction. I intend to win. I throw down the gauntlet and DARE anyone to accept my challenge to outbid me. The article is mine! Mine do you hear!
