I would assume the same....The tag might be for importation purposes or spuriously added in an attempt to deceive.....Interesting piece however....Perhaps it's a style 'Old Flags' is familiar with....Bodes

modern Japan made fake. These
sold at retail for $4.50 USD some
years ago.
