Thoughts on Cased EK1 950 Hallmark

What are your thoughts on this cased EK1 950? I have never seen anything like it. Cross in unique custom leather case.

We will need better photos but from what I can see I think it has a chance to be a good Meybauer with a replaced pin and a repaired catch.

I agree, probably a genuine cross with imo definitely replaced main pin and hinge pin (and catch), also with a split frame (left of the catch on the reverse pic). Possibly a Meybauer, although the 950 font looks larger than I am used to for Meybauer 950 examples. Re the case, imo a genuine old case that has probably had the lower insert changed out to fit an EK1 and a bogus "worn" decal added to the top. Not a set I would spend real money on.

Thanks for the comments. These are the only pictures I have. I thought it might be a very rare example, but perhaps I will pass on purchasing this cross for the premium asking price.
