    Hi Funksammler,

    regarding your quote;

    have the D-manuals for the transmitter/receiver/Umformers, but they do not give much information on installation and cabling

    I was just about to order some of these but would like an overview of the content before pressing the "buy" button. What information do they have?

    Regards,

    Ian

      A picture to illustrate some of the different manuals out there:

      <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC07678_zpsap3ptg1q.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC07678_zpsap3ptg1q.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC07678_zpsap3ptg1q.jpg"/></a>

      Here is the contents page of D988/2 for the Ukw.E.e:

      <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC07679_zpsg4y69slx.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC07679_zpsg4y69slx.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC07679_zpsg4y69slx.jpg"/></a>

      The manual contains mainly technical information, describing what the receiver does and how it works and how to fault find it. It contains circuit diagrams and componenent lists and some more pictures pointing out individual components/controls:

      <a href="http://s672.photobucket.com/user/Funksammler/media/DSC07680_zpsnor1lwym.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv86/Funksammler/DSC07680_zpsnor1lwym.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo DSC07680_zpsnor1lwym.jpg"/></a>

      You need these types of manual when you are restoring the equipment or if you are interested in the electronic design. It does not tell you how they built into the tanks or how they were used.

      hope this helps,

      Funksammler

              Hi P.

              here are several. No doubt there are more if you search online.

              The NARA archives in the US have a good few as well. I am just in the process of trying to purchase from them, but it is turning out to be a long winded affair.
