    LDO cased NSDAP badge

I am thinking about buying this one.

You dont see those NSDAP badges often in these LDO type cases (I like them )...Its to small to fit an iron cross 2nd class in it...

Any chance of a picture of the base of the case without the award?

Nice try...that's a Faithful Service Cross case. The NSDAP medal doesn't fit correctly...Tom

Of course that doesn't mean it is a bad deal for you, depending on the price. It looks like a nice original NSDAP medal and the case id for sure real, just for another medal.

BTW, I think I have a similar case also marked L/55 on the bottm.

            Is the case dark blue?

Don't forget it may be broken, the lid coming away form the base.

              Hi

I'm with TGN on this one. These do not belong together.

If it's dark blue then it is regarded as being for the FSC.

The top should be attached to the base.

                  200e, not too bad.

I asked for that specific, but it is not (has never been) attached to the base at all....It consists of 2 seperate parts.

just got a response from the seller. He stated that is is a BLACK case...

What options are left, if a NSDAP doesnt fit neither a iron cross...

I have never seen this type of LDO case where the top of the case has not been attached to the base.

                        Too many warning signs Martin

                          Hi

Is it 200 Euro for the medal and the case? If so I would say ask him what his return policy is and find out if this guy can be trusted and if everything sounds good pick it up. You never really know if something is time period until you actually hold it in your hands. 200 Euro is a good deal either which way you look at it.

I don't believe the NSDAP awards were ever authorized to be sold/produced through the LDO--they were strictly RZM controlled and only available through RZM licensed establishments.
