It's made by Heinrich Balke--they are still in business today. From the limited pics, this looks like a wartime Nebel visor.

No picture available. The rhomboid shape matches, as does the address. It looks good to me. Just my opinion.

Hmmm. Based on my experience with HB caps, I'm going to say that it looks like there could be a problem with this one.

I've had two HB caps go through my hands, and they both had a strange type of "Pekuros"-like edge to the sweatband. I thought this might have something to do with the difference between an officer and an OR cap, but the first example I'll show you is from a Luft Nachtrichten cap; look at the edge above the sweatband:

Having said all that, HB did also make contract caps which did not use their padding above the sweatband - but the example I've had did not have the fancy maker's mark (only a stamp under the sweatband, like other contract caps):

So, in closing, I'd check out the stitching on your cap very, very carefully; does the lining (which is original) "sit" properly in the cap? To me, it looks rather "baggy", as if it has not been pleated in that way for the past 60 years. I'm afraid that it very well could be a frankenstein.

I just took a closer look at the stiching of this cap....
There are a couple of things I noticed.
                          Just my two cents

                          Stiching of two different colors......

                          Very sloppy stiching under piping.....

It's all about the right pics posted that start to show the evidence of someones frankestein handywork. Sorry, but it looks to have been messed with. I was pulling for you when I first saw the initial posted pics.
