OMG !!! you got to be joking ! are there any original MP38 parts in it ? since the true came out then I got 2 bones to pick on , first the 2 at the front sign protector are up side down . second the pin that hold the magazine housing to the tube (next to the tube serial #) are not machine press down like the one I have and others I have observed and I thought the tube and the magazine housing were separated once and put back together later with the new pin without machine press down , this master piece can fool 99.99 % of any MP38 collector ! like Tobysauer say I need to get out of this hobby.

Guys,
please look closely at the details of the waA markings, codes and numbers, the counter piece of the shoulder rest and especially shaping of the the receiver/tube ( the safety marking "S" , ...) ... Then you will see that this mp38 is NO original I will not write more, probably these fakers are reading also .
Take pictures of original pieces or better compare directly with original pieces at home, then you will see it definitively.
ITS A SHAME that these guys "are polluting" the collector market and will fool the new collectors with a lot of money

I've heard about these MP40 well-made copies but never seen one yet. The quality is indeed amazing and surely the best of all copies that we have seen so far but as Schmeisserfan said it does look like a copy, somehow the whole general appearance (gun-bluing, wear, etc) is different from an original MP40.

But thankfully, there are several components of a real mp38 the fakers will not be able to imitate ever .. so I stay optimistic
