    Fake kvk 1.... right?

    Just got this kvk 1 class without swords.
    Really doesn't feel good but I have no kvk 1 class maker 50 to compare with. Can anyone help me out?

    I don't have an example of a "50" to compare it to right off, but I don't like the hinge, catch, or the center veins on the leaves. I've heard that this last trait (the veins) is an indicator of fakes. Can anyone else confirm or dispell this?

      I heard about the veins too, dont know if its true for sure, but I definitely dont like the hinge and catch on this piece.

        The cross looked rather crude to me. My only concern is the hinge/pin/catch combination to this maker.

        Just my thoughts !!!

          i have a sure original made from the same company. The needle system is completly different. Therefore it seems that your badge is a reproduction.

            Hello. I agree with others. I think that this cross is not original. All is wrong. I send the images of the cross, which on my opinion is original. I have seen only this type of the cross with maker 50. But there are 2 types of maker mark 50.http://profy14.narod.ru/photoalbum.html
