Italian M43 or Replica?

Is this an Italian made M43? The insignia looks like some of the foreign-made pieces, and the body is the itchy Italian wool. The liner is HBT, but not the silver-grey material associated with Italian uniform items; it's more of a flat HBT type.

Is this a replica? Does anyone have much experience with Italian-made caps?
