Tasche Gewehr Granat Gerät (Rifle Grenade Pouch)

    Hi guys

I'd like to show my GGG (Gewehr Granat Gerät) pouch which I recently acquired.... I've been looking for one with D-rings for a long time now

This one is a clg one, dated 43 (most of them are dkk ones with fixed straps)

    More examples out there ??

    Hope you like it.....

and clg markings (can't read the WaA unfortunately)

@Eric : Very nice collection !!!! Love them

@anmarlodz Great Picture, didn't encounter it on the Bundesarchiv... that is a great source for pictures !

@BrunoH, Very nice to see it's twin sister !!

Mine had the same straps attached ( however they almost came loose so I carefully removed them as I suspected these were added later as the quality of the straps was so...... not-german, if you know what I mean.. sort of sloppy .... maybe I should re-attach them after all)

                  Here some more pictures

                  picture of riveted straps....

Here a picture of my dkk 43 pouch

and a picture of the GGG with the other type of GGG ammo bags

                      I would second that sentiment.

A quick question, does anyone know when these pouches where introduced? the ones I have seen on this forum and elsewhere are all dated 42/43.

Would there be earlier\later ones in existence?

                      Regards

                      Ian

                        Hi Tom,

Some details of my strap ... except the cut part on yours, it seems to be OK, isn't ?

                        Regards

                        Bruno

By the way, nice 'grouping' in your last picture

                          Rifle grenade launcher pouch.

Here is my contribution to the thread.

Tom I really like the strapless pouch you have. They seem to be less common that the strapped type.

It would seem we also have a variety of straps to look at also.

Does anyone have the mega rare WEB GGG POUCH?...

I will put up a photo or 2 of my grenade bags in a moment.

                            Rifle grenade launcher pouch.

Here are the marking on the back belt loop on my Grenade Pouches.

I tucked the respective straps into the belt loop so you can tell them apart.
