        hi Skip

I think WH maybe not a good one. I remember Yuri mentioned that the MM "H" should have a blower middle bar. Moreover, the hinge is different.... . I think this WH may be a repro one.

I´m with Skip on this one, both looks good to me as well. This "WH" type has been up on this forum before and IMHO this type is a variant.
Second one is a unmarked L/56.
          Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

            Ronny,
I agree with Skip and Hans in that is an accepted varaition of the WH IAB.

              Hi Ronny

              Nice bronze

Regards the WH...looks like the version that always gets a mixed reaction, as opposed to the one Indy mentioned.

The reason I do not own one is down to the threads on this forum. I can't remember the exact details but the seeds of doubt were planted.

In a few years time somebody will prove they are fine

              all the best

Hi Ronny, I agree with the other members who say these are good, I own a WH myself from the same type and never had any problems with it, when you hold it in your hands you 'feel' that it's good
And if by chance you should have any doubts you can always send it to me without any charge

                      Wh Iab

Another forum member just recently obtained one of these WH IAB's from a reliable source. I've asked the forum member to post pics and the story.

Hi Harry - Thanks for the invite. I got this from a NY Vet's Grandson. Never been in a collection before. The Grandson never knew it existed until he died. The "H" has a centered cross-bar.

Backside, sorry for the glare, all the finish is there. Since this came straight from a Vet's family, I have 100% confidence it correct. The ones with low "H" may or may not be original, don't know since I have never picked one up from a Vet or Vet's family.

Thanks Jeff, the IAB with the low H is a completely different setup. Has the hinge on a pedestal.
