    Help needed with Commodore flag

I need help with this German commodore flag. First of all I dont know anything about flags. I´ve tried to decipher stamped numbers and my only conclusion is that it is post war. How I wish I am wrong.

Its 100% a postwar flag made for the Bundesmarine! The 13 digit number in picture 2 is the NATO stock number with the "-12-" indicating that it was made for the German Navy. The last stamp is giving the size of the flag in centimeters...and the date of manufacture (1965) .

Not that Jens needs a backup vote for this, but I'll give him one anyway

Whenever you see a 13 digit code (4 - 2 - 3 - 4) code like that you should think "post war". That sort of numbering system simply did not exist in Third Reich days.

It's a very nice flag and I'm sure it has decent value, though obviously not Third Reich value.

correct 13 digit NATO stock number used here.
            12 Means Germany.
