    Luftwaffe Visor Cap

    Good day all,

First sorry for my bad English. I hope you can help me. I’m thinking of getting a Luftwaffe set. In that set there is a visor cap. I watched some around on the internet and some books I have.
There is some moth damage on the cap around the eagle.

What is your opinion about this cap? Totally crap or a nice cap if you ignore the moth damage?

    Kind regards,

    Jeffrey.

Ps. Hope the pictures are good enough

      Hi there!
I have bad vibration about your cap... We need better pics, but from that I can see, interior sounds bad as a 3 cent coin! I didn't like the sweat band, always seeing on the fake caps, the lining, and the reverse of the visor, with that corrugated surface doesn't match with any wartime productions. For me is a good-looking (outside) repro, with a easily detecting interior!
      IMHO!

              Hallo jeffie

This visor is a total junk&crap

I have seen only once a real Faltermeier logo and it was finely embossed in silver on the sweatshield and certainly not so roughly printed. A close inspection of the real one denotes also some very distinctive details in the fonts’style (e.g.: the shaping of the second R). This style and fonts of the logo are quite common in the current production of fake visors and based on the real Faltermeier’s logo (with the above mentioned variations and often connected with some poor attempts to mimic a stirndruckfrei system).

              best regards
