    Leather coverall - help needed!

Hello! Friend of mine needs to identify this coverall. This one does not look like anything I ever seen before. What is this, any ideas?

Hello, I believe these types of step ins were made for and used by the Kriegsmarine. However there have been examples seen that have Luftwaffe insignia applied. Nearly all Luft leather pilot jackets with the side slash pockets origionated with this type of step in and its unclear if this was done post war. The 4-5 I have examined(owned one) feature a coarse black heavy blanket liner and all have a multi piece heavily sown leather back and waist area. Climb inside of one of these, zipp it up, boot up and one is nearly impervious. Best, Bill Bourque

Hello, here are 2 pics of older photographs. Im sure one can find pics of these in use by the Kriegsmarine. Here is an example of a Luft use with aPilot/observer badge. An example of one cut down for pilot use. A blurred closeup of the tags. Bill
