It looks good to me but of course I am no expert and have been fooled plenty, especially on MP-40 pouches.

The ones that are in collecting circles are in unissued condition because a very large lot of them was discovered, unissued, and imported as surplus in the late 60s or early 70s and they could be found at shows at that time piled up in cut off refrigerator boxes, sold very cheap, take your pick. There are a number of people who can confirm this. The vast majority of those clg pouches in collector hands today are those.

Not "stories" but first hand facts related by the people who were there selling them and buying them. The same is true of many things from Europe. That is, why is it that we rarely if ever find some of the original pouches that turn up in Europe ("barn finds") here in the US? MP.40 pouches were never a big "vet bringback" item by GIs, they were used postwar, and were damaged, worn, and destroyed. The large bulk of originals in Europe are found in Norway I believe, which would have gotten earlier pouches I presume, not later, such as the clg. Who knows.
