I would have said blue, but I'm not even convinced its original. Is there an interior shot? Were the bullion crosses in this style actually worn?

That one has been sitting there for awhile. Cross is too low, and is potmetal. Needs an in-hand for sure.

100% agree, this is the right color for chaplain.

If the visor is ok and the cross is post war how would that influence the value of a chaplain cap? The military collectibles chaplain looks promising. I would like to examine the weitze.
