    Brown boots

    I've had these boots for some time. They are quite large (30 1/2) and sole had been reworked.

    I know they are original WWII but what do the letters on them mean: R.F.V.I. ?? I guess they might not be Wehrmacht...perhaps Reichsfinanzverwaltung?

            -Thanks Nick, but would the "I" behind the RFV mean anything different?

            -Would it be OK to remove the Amerikan rubber heel covers for some good original German standard horse-shoes?
