PS; I would just like to point out that the LSSAH stamp on these 2 items is a unit stamp not a manufacturers stamp, and would have been added when they obtained these items which would be some years after they were made as both the cup and the bottle are dated 1934 and at that time there was no LSSAH
SS Dagger and Sword ..Documented and authenticated by Tom Wittman to the General, this General contolled all LSSAH in Russia Bastogne, and defending Berlin
Gary,
Is the "lssah" engraved on the items as it is a bit far-fetched to believe that it has been stamped on after a few years from when they were manufactured....
The bottle is stamped on the rounded neck, and the other has been stamped on a raised portion with no support underneath.
And why even bother to stamp them?
Silver embroidered LAH officer's cufftitle (tunic removed) which was stuffed into the leather pouch with the LAH VT identity disc. Got this from recently deceased vet's daughter after a several month's long mind numbing haggling session.

Brett,
No, it is not engraved on the cup it is stamped, the water bottle is not mine it belongs to a Russian collector and was not for sale so i could not obtain it.
Many units property stamped there items, ranging from clothing to equipment and it was not a practice unique to the SS, and not all items and clothing used by the SS were initially made for them a lot were acquired from other sources. You will find unit property stamps Even on items that were ss contract made.
There is nothing far fetched about it at all,
cheers Gary
PS if you want to start a thread about markings please do so
Very nice Nutmeg, would be good to hear the full story if you would be so gracious to share
Best Regards
David
A lady from a local newspaper ad. First she wanted to sell it, then not, then maybe, no matter what I offered it wasn't enough , etc. Must have taken about 5-6 months of hard negoiating, she would put the toughest collectors I know to shame.

For anyone who doubts colleague Wood's wisdom here, please consult this contemporary source: Amtsrat Hess, Der Bekleidungsunteroffizier, (Graefe/Berlin, 1938) pp. 36ff. as to property stamps; kinds of stamps; how to stamp; what to stamp....pi pa po. The Germans stamped their property listed on hand receipts, on property books, &c. It also has a very exciting chapter on care of textiles and other materiel, complete with descriptions of forms of soap, moth crystals---the whole shebang! Scarcely a day goes by that I do not consult its wise and informed counsel. Someone should reprint it. Also germane is H. Dv. 122 Abschnitt B, Anzugordnung f. d. Reichsheer (Mittler/Berlin, 1935). I can not cite the SS equivalents other than to know that they surely existed, as accountability and thrift are military virtues as pervasive in the army of Frederick II as that of armies of today.
