        Dok,

This one would not for my collection.

-The EK is very worn but the ribbon looks new.
-The KVK is mint even though the other medals appear worn.
-That is not the correct ribbon for the Austrian Anschluss medal. That looks like a Blood Order Ribbon.
-The backing plate/catch reminds me of the plates used by the Austrian faker Alfred Vollost.

        Kind regards
        Pierce

            Thank you!
Have a look at the photo closer. And I do not like awards Minto.
            Best wishes

Definitely has the look of a put together bar...all the pieces may be original but a post war manufacture...IMO

What is meant by " the plates used by the Austrian faker Alfred Vollost"?
                Is that bad?

                  Dok,

If you do a search on "Alfred Vollmost" you will see some of his work. Here is an example I have on file. Note the reverse.

                  Kind regards

Another example. Your medal bar has been made with original medals but the rest is post-war in my opinion.

                    Kind regards

Respectfully I disagree- very original. Two small but important clues show it to be so.
I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
                        Look closely at that catch.

The KVKx is an early bronze one.

                          Hi McCulloh,

This is what a discussion is all about; different opinions. What are the 2 important clues?

Ok I see a rusty old catch with possibly a snipped pin... The catch resembles that used by Vollmost, as I said, that is what it reminds me off.

                          Best regards
