        Hello,

Never seen anything like this before and hope I never do again. For me it is definitely a fake/fantasy badge as Peppe says. The way the German words are broken up is ridiculous. A poorly-designed badge, totally unlike anything legitimate of the Third Reich Period.

        Best regards,
        Tom

I've followed the discussion during the years in relation to those badges, and as far as I know no proof of its authenticity has ever surfaced, so they are commonly considered fakes.
If not interested and you want to sell it to me, as fake of course, I'll be glad to obtain an example for my fake collection.

I would say that is a fantasy piece.

            regards

                Husken Katalog

                RonR,

I'm not familiar with Husken. What does the badge's picture in their catalog imply?

I had some very bad experiences with Husken....so, this catalogue means nothing to me.

                      Servus Bergkameraden,

There has been plenty of discussion about this badge in other posts. The DRK had the Gebirgs-Unfall-Deinst badge. There has been some documentation about the Alpine Rescue Service badge...but still a lot of questions about it.

                        Hello guys,

Apparently, one sold recently on proxibid for $50. Most of the stuff that filters its way into this auction is questionable at best.

                        Best regards,

                            Hello Theo,

Thanks for posting that armband. Although that is still a fake, it still looks a lot more believable than that badge that started this discussion thread.

                            Best regards,
