    M9/87 Adolf Besson packet

Just picked this up and thought to share as I've not seen photos of this maker's packet.

Certainly not a maker you see every day, but I have heard of this maker.

They made tinnies as far as I'm aware of and it would appear likely the Czech Annex medal, also. That is as you probably are aware already the packet is commonly known to have housed that medal.

I'm also aware of the odd Honour Cross being found in these, not from dealers or collectors but out of the woodwork literally.

What's interesting about these packets is that they are very very early and in so being carry a multitude of makers marks from the well known and not so common to the odd 'unknown' in medal and badge terms (they could well be known as tinnie makers and other stuff)

@Marcus: thank for all the info. In fact, I knew nothing of this maker so all your info is appreciated and duly noted.

@Allan: the packet was empty; I picked it up on its on merit.

I think you did well mate I've a guy in Germany that has done some research for me, I'll see if he can enquire about the maker to any degree.

It's little packets like this that bring the uncommon makers into the light as it were; my way of thinking is IF they made Annex medals or possible others within the scope of what we think we know concering a packet or two, then what else perhaps???
