    Then & Now From Gran Sasso...

    ..ah, not Gran Sasso the respecteable member of this Forum , but the mountain where was Mussolini before that Fallschirmjäger come.

    First: A FJ help his wounded comrade (Photo "Now" is taken saturday, during 2nd session of a movie with a Reenactors Group)

    Second: A FJ near the station of...ops, in italian is "Funivia"...in english? Today this station is missing; the new one was build after the war very close.

                    Nice photos, Marco! Thanks for sharing them. The first one shows Uffz. Gedenk, glider pilot, helping, together with an Italian soldier, Uff. Ronsdorf, glider #8 pilot, who was wounded due to the risky landing manoeuvre.
