I'd pick it up for the right price.

No, it's a first for me. (But like you I see the EK 2s occasionally.)

            Hello,

Interesting thread, as I just had one of these Spanish KvK II's presented to me, along with an Order of the German Eagle with Crossed Swords 5th Class, just two weekends ago at a local gun show.

I was somewhat surprised by them both, but gave the thumbs up to the person who brought them in and I made him an offer for both pieces. I am always fair with my offers, but could see that he was hesitant to accept it, so I told him to show them around and if he could not find another interested buyer to return. He in turn, of course, sold one to the very next interested party, for the price I quoted, and then sold the Order of the German Eagle for a hefty sum to another person I know, who based his offer on what the German made medal is valued in the "Forman's Guide".

They were both of typical Spanish construction, complete with ribbons, and I have no doubt that they were real. I might be able to get pictures of both these pieces, as I know each of the parties who purchased them quite well. If I do, I will post them to this thread at some point.

I would have expected to see a KvK II, but who would have thought they made the Eagle Order, too?

yes, please try to get some photographs, I would be extremely interested to see them, and I'm sure many other members here too.

what value did you put on the crosses?
              regards

Very interesting piece. These are definitely rare items. Gotta like the age on this one. Even for a KVK 2 ... this is what collectors love to see

Here is my Spanish made Eagle Order. I once offered it for sale and collectors looked at me like I was holding a sheiss sandwich.

Here's the more commonly encountered Spanish-made EK 2 (Bill Stump Collection).

As I recall, it was one-piece. (I saw it at Bill's house several years ago.)
