The story is that it was recovered 'amongst a dozen more' out of a small lake in Karelia, Russia (documented with photos).
The motorcycle was registered for the 6th SS nord division which was based in the north of Norway.

If anyone has a photo of a motorcycle with a license plate "SS-114xxx" don't be shy and post it here

Nice plates guys. Sadly I found out mine a long time ago was a black and white civic plate with the acceptance stamp painted on and the SS runes were overpaints. Been looking for one to replace that fake ever since!

SS license number 114307 sold here too. Please register, you can see 2009 year's price of 11,000 rubles, equivalent to about $ 370.
