Once again New Fake SS officer buckle

Already highlighted in July by Bob Evans in his European Forum "War relics Forum" this is another fake SS officer buckle to highly consider. I do not know if anybody took the time, effort or interest to talk about it in THIS Forum (since several members are members in both Forums they should had) but I noticed their thread just today myself. For the sake of this collecting I feel obligated to share this information with as many collectors as I could.

It's already obvious when you compare to ANY early nickel silver officer SS buckle made by Overhoff. But to help here are pictures of the original the above fake was based on.



PLEASE do not comment publicly on differences you could note! This will only be an extra help to fakers to improve their nasty production!!
